UPPSC PCS, RO, ARO exam dates announced at uppsc.up.nic.in

The UPPSC PCS 2024 notification, available at uppsc.up.nic.in, states that the preliminary exam will take place in 41 districts across the state.

UPPSC PCS 2024: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has officially disclosed the examination schedule for the PCS prelims, as well as for the AO and ARO exams. The PCS prelims test is scheduled to take place over two days, namely December 7 and 8, 2024, with two shifts each day – from 9:30 to 11:30 am and from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. In accordance with the notification issued on uppsc.up.nic.in, the examination is set to be conducted across 41 districts within the state.

The RO and ARO examinations are scheduled for December 22 and 23. The examination on December 22 will be conducted in two sessions: from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. On the following day, the exam will occur in a single session from 9 am to 12 pm. The commission has reported a total of 10,76,004 applicants for the RO and ARO recruitment exams.

The UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam, originally set for October 27, 2024, has been delayed.

The commission stated in the notice of delay that the examination is expected to take place around mid-December 2024.

The initial phase of the combined state/upper subordinate services exam will include two mandatory papers to be answered on OMR sheets. Each paper will carry 200 marks, with a time limit of 2 hours for completion.

For Paper II to be considered a qualifying paper, candidates are required to achieve a minimum qualifying mark set at 33 percent. It is mandatory for candidates to participate in both papers to qualify for assessment.
