Ashneer Grover Reacts on LinkedIn After Salman Khan Bigg Boss Remarks
Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar: Salman Khan confronts Ashneer Grover over his remarks on signing the actor. Mr Grover responds.

The most recent episode of Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar included a verbal altercation between actor Salman Khan and fintech entrepreneur Ashneer Grover. In the episode, Mr. Khan called out the “doglapan” of the previous managing director and co-founder of BharatPe, which translates to “double standards” and is the title of a book written by Mr. Grover.
Salman criticized Ashneer Grover for his earlier remarks on the actor, saying, “I have heard you talking about me. All of your figures were incorrect, even though you claimed that “we signed him for this amount, signed him for that much.” What, therefore, is the reason for the disparate treatment?”
“Doglapan” is a term that became popular after Ashneer Grover used it on Shark Tank India in 2021.

What Happened On Bigg Boss 18:
In April 2022, Ashneer Grover told Lovely Professional University students how he signed Salman Khan. He stated that Mr. Khan requested ₹7.5 crore. Mr Khan’s manager allegedly remarked, “Sir, aap bhindi khareedne aaye ho kya?” when requested to lower his charge Kitni maandvali? Sir, are you buying vegetables? How much more will you bargain?
During the show, Salman Khan brought up this claim and claimed that the figures cited were inaccurate.
“Perhaps that did not come across correctly in the podcast,” Ashneer Grover explained.
“But the way you are saying today, and the footage I saw of you, this was not your mentality back then,” retorted Salman Khan.
When Mr. Khan admitted that he did not know Ashneer Grover’s name until it was stated, the shots were fired.
“I recently learned that you will be visiting us. likewise unaware of your name. I recognized your face since I had watched your video. You should be mindful of your appearance, in my opinion,” Mr. Khan continued. At one point, Mr. Grover also criticized Mr. Khan’s “heropanti” when the manager of the actor told him not to take a photo with Mr. Khan because the actor was uncomfortable.
