Ahead of the release of RM’s first-ever documentary, Right People, Wrong Place, BigHit unveiled its character poster.

BTS leader Kim Namjoon, aka RM, will soon premiere his first-ever documentary *Right People, Wrong Place*. Ahead of its release, the official character poster featuring RM has been unveiled. The documentary will focus on his second solo album, *Right Place, Wrong Person*, released in May this year, highlighting his dedication and hard work behind the project.

On November 13, BTS’ agency BigHit shared a post on their X (formerly Twitter) handle revealing the first character poster of RM’s documentary Right People, Wrong Place.



RM’s Documentary “Right People, Wrong Place” Set to Premiere

The documentary, directed by Lee Seok Jun, will focus on the BTS leader’s journey in making his second solo album. The film will showcase RM’s doubts, personal emotions, and struggles as he navigates global stardom while working on his album.

The synopsis of the film available on its official website stated: “A film that chronicles artist RM’s eight-month production of his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, while candidly recording the endless concerns of the person Kim Namjoon, and the things he immerses himself in and loves. For the first time, RM, or just Kim Namjoon, steps forward and opens the door to speak to his audience.”

The first round of ticket reservations took place on November 6. The second round will begin on November 20, when tickets will also be available for sale in India. Lastly, ticket sales for Japan will begin on November 22, and the documentary will be released in Japan in January. The pre-sale tickets were quickly sold out, highlighting RM’s stardom and excitement among the ARMYs for his upcoming project.

For the uninitiated, RM released his first mixtape, RM and Mono, just years before he made his debut as a solo artist. In 2022, the K-pop idol released his first-ever solo album, Indigo, with Wild Flowers as its title track. In 2024, RM released his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person.

Meanwhile, RM enlisted in the military on December 11, 2023, to complete his mandatory service to his country.
